Oxford. St Johns
This is the main entance to St Johns College Oxford. The oldest buildings were built in 1437. Thats 674 years old.
The dinning hall where the undergraduates sit in the main hall and the senior common room is at high table. The potraits are of the college presidents - they ran the college year after year. I went to afternoon tea in the senior common room: there was tea and coffee, cakes and sandwiches.
This is the old libary with very old books. Some of they date back 400 years . The old books were facinating but we could not touch them becuase they might break. There were two large globes. One of the stars. The other was of earth but only half of Australia on it because the other half had not been discovered when it was made.
