Oxford - Sheldonian, Divinity school, Christchurch cathedral, "the Bear" Inn
The Sheldonian Theatre is where they give out the degrees in Oxford university. It is built in the style of a Roman theatre. On the inside3 of the done there is a picture with angels and the gorgon falling out. We climbed to the dome. I took pictures of Oxford.
This is the School of Divinity. It was one of the first building built as a lecture room for the university. In Harry Potter the infirmary and the ball were filmed here.

Gatwick airport, London to Oxford
We stopped in Gatwick airport, London. Mum and Dad had an extra LARGE Coffee. We then took a bus to Oxford. The farms are smaller than the Australian ones. The rooves are all pointy and not flat like some in Australia. can you guess why? Because it snows
.
We stopped at the last bus stop and waited for John, Sophia, Samuel and Juli. We walked to St John's College which I sleep at. There are lots of lions, gargoyles and angel heads on the walls.

In Dubai we stayed in a very neat hotel. (The Arabian Coutyard Hotel ) The city has sandstornms every month. Dubai is in the middle of the desert. It is very HOT in Dubai. We went the near by shops with a quilting friend of Mum's Kathy.
The shopping area was actually the fabric Souk a traditional shopping areas in the centre of Dubai. The sellection od fabrics was amazing.
I was so bored with the shops that I nearly fell asleep. We then went down to the river and saw lots and lots of boats. There were cargo ships,Tourism ships,Taxi boats and even boats that people live in.
There were lots and lots of funny shaped buildings with satelites of the roof. We then left to go to London where mum used to live.
